This role demands a solid foundation in hand-drawn 2D animation and stylized 3D FX techniques. Key Responsibilities:

• Generate hand-drawn 2D FX sequences for animations

• Paint over conceptual FX designs and integrate them into projects

• Create dynamic simulations, particle, and fluid systems

• Collaborate with compositing and rendering teams effectively

• Present work during dailies and lead department discussions

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years VFX experience or 7 years without a degree

• Strong portfolio in 2D FX animation techniques

• Proficient with Houdini and basic Nuke skills

• Excellent visual storytelling and communication skills

• Knowledge of Linux and Python scripting
