This role sits within the Environments team, where you will create high-quality matte paintings and set extensions that align with the film’s art direction. Working closely with Environment, Lighting, and Compositing teams, you will ensure that your artwork seamlessly integrates into the animated world. Your understanding of composition and atmosphere will be key as you translate concept art into vivid production-ready environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create digital matte paintings reflecting the film’s tone

• Integrate 2D and 3D elements skillfully

• Collaborate with multiple teams for seamless integration

• Translate visual materials into cohesive environments

• Research visual references to support design

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years in matte painting or related fields

• Proficiency in Photoshop and Nuke

• Knowledge of Maya, Houdini, or 3ds Max

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
