Cinesite is seeking a Senior Lighting Artist to join its talented Feature Animation team, contributing to award-winning visual effects. Collaborate on lighting and compositing high-quality imagery, with a flexible hybrid work model.

At Cinesite, this senior role encompasses 3D lighting and rendering duties alongside the Lighting Lead and experienced artists. You'll be instrumental in creating visually compelling shots, utilizing tools like Gaffer and Nuke, while ensuring artistic coherence and technical excellence. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on lighting and compositing individual sequences

• Create master light rigs and assembly setups

• Light and composite shots using Gaffer and Nuke

• Troubleshoot artistic and technical issues effectively

• Discuss shot progress during dailies with the team

Requirements:

• 5 years experience in animated feature projects

• Proficient in Katana/Gaffer, Nuke, and Renderman

• Strong understanding of light, shading, and color

• Team-oriented with effective communication skills

• Knowledge of stylized lighting concepts
