In this role at Page Two, you will coordinate editorial schedules and oversee production milestones for non-fiction books. You’ll collaborate with authors, freelancers, and designers, maintaining communication and tracking deadlines while ensuring manuscript quality. This position requires a proactive approach to managing projects and supporting a dynamic publishing team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain editorial and production schedules using Smartsheets
• Oversee proofreading, final files, and production processes
• Coordinate title metadata entry in publishing platforms
• Provide editorial support, including copyediting and proofreading
• Assist in scheduling freelance editors and managing communications
Requirements:
• Degree or certificate in publishing or related field
• 1-2 years experience in publishing
• Strong copyediting skills with Chicago Manual of Style knowledge
• Proficiency in project-management tools and metadata
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
