As a Lead BG Prep Artist at Image Engine, you will be integral to film production, utilizing your strong experience and technical skills in Silhouette and Nuke. You will oversee essential steps in the VFX workflow, ensuring quality control and guiding your team effectively. Additional soft skills, such as communication and time management, will empower you to contribute positively to a diverse creative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend project kickoffs and strategize shot execution
• Provide clear annotations for artists to follow
• Quality check submissions and ensure technical accuracy
• Collaborate with coordinators to prioritize schedules
• Offer constructive feedback on artist performance
Requirements:
• 6 years of experience in film or TV production
• Expertise in Silhouette and Nuke applications
• Proficiency in Mocha Pro and Shotgrid
• Basic Linux knowledge is a plus
• Relevant degree in Digital/Traditional Arts preferred
