FX Supervisor

Position: FX Supervisor for WildBrain
Elevate visual storytelling at Wild Brain as an FX Supervisor, CG (Feature) in Vancouver. Your expertise in Houdini and leadership will guide the FX team through production.
Join our creative team at Wild Brain where you'll report to the Producer and collaborate closely with the Head of Effects Animation, Director, and Art Director. This role demands a blend of artistic skill and technical acumen to ensure the FX department meets both quality standards and production deadlines. Your leadership experience in feature production and advanced proficiency in FX tools will be vital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define project’s visual direction with core team members

• Identify and troubleshoot technical challenges with supervisors

• Ensure consistent quality across all final pixel outputs

• Mentor and support the FX team throughout production

• Participate in the hiring and training processes
Requirements:

• 2+ years in FX leadership roles

• Advanced skills in Houdini and Nuke

• Experience in diverse effects creation

• Strong understanding of shading and rendering workflows

• Proven problem-solving and communication abilities
Lead the FX efforts at Wild Brain, ensuring seamless integration and outstanding quality in every production.
