Position: Junior Lighting Artist at ICON Creative Studio
Become a Junior Lighting Artist with ICON Creative Studio in Vancouver, BC, and work with groundbreaking technology to create engaging 3D animated scenes. This is an exciting opportunity to enhance your skills in lighting and compositing while collaborating with seasoned professionals.

In your role as a Junior Lighting Artist, you will be a pivotal member of the Lighting, Rendering & Compositing team. You will focus on lighting, rendering, and compositing shots under the guidance of experienced leads. This position is ideal for those eager to advance their skills in a dynamic production environment while working on top-tier CG projects for major streaming platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Light, render, and composite shots using Maya, Arnold, and Nuke

• Enhance lighting setups for storytelling and continuity

• Collaborate to ensure consistency across scenes

• Match visual direction with Art Directors and Supervisors

• Communicate progress and issues with the Production team

Requirements:

• Basic experience with Maya and Arnold

• Familiarity with Nuke or other compositing software

• Strong attention to detail and communication skills

• Understanding of lighting fundamentals and interest in storytelling

• Ability to meet deadlines and quotas
