City News is seeking a dynamic Video Journalist to join its Vancouver team. You will produce engaging stories that reflect the diverse culture of the city, shooting and editing your own footage. Key skills include meeting tight deadlines, going live when required, and generating original content that stands out.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce and present original video stories
• Shoot and edit high-quality footage
• Work collaboratively within a creative team
• Meet daily online and broadcast deadlines
• Go live for breaking news coverage
Requirements:
• Passion for storytelling and local news
• Experience in shooting and editing
• Valid driver’s license and clean record
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• Self-starter with a solution-oriented mindset
