You will lead the execution of simulations like cloth, hair, and crowd dynamics using Houdini while addressing various rigging and enveloping challenges.
Your role also includes mentoring junior artists, providing vital skills training, and participating in departmental reviews and meetings. This is an excellent opportunity for those passionate about creature technical artistry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and manage complex simulations
• Address and troubleshoot lot and CFX issues
• Mentor and guide entry-level artists in their growth
• Script tools and utilities effectively in Maya
• Conduct detailed creature rigging processes
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of industry experience required
• Proficient in Houdini and working knowledge of Linux
• Strong Python or VEX scripting background
• Understanding of anatomy and corrective sculpting
• Familiarity with crowd simulation software is a plus
