Motion Designer and Editor - Hybrid Position

Join our team as a Motion Designer and Editor, where creativity meets storytelling. This hybrid role will involve editing, animation, and research for compelling weekly episodes.

This position demands end-to-end editing abilities for weekly content, including cutting interviews and narration, as well as designing animated visual sequences. You will be responsible for building charts and timelines, sourcing imagery, and ensuring it aligns with the narrative—all while working remotely and collaborating asynchronously to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit narrative and interview segments for episodes

• Create animated cutout sequences to explain concepts

• Develop visual charts, maps, and timelines for clarity

• Source and authenticate all imagery used in content

• Work closely with team members under weekly timelines

Requirements:

• Proficiency in editing and motion design software

• Understanding of how to visualize material effectively

• Experience in remote team settings with asynchronous feedback

• Strong time management skills to meet weekly goals
