As a CFX Artist, you will develop and execute various character effects, including hair and muscle simulations. Collaborating with departments like animation and lighting is essential to ensure high-quality results. You’ll also create tools to streamline workflows and troubleshoot any arising technical challenges, keeping production running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute complex character effects simulations in Houdini

• Collaborate with animation and lighting teams

• Design tools to enhance CFX workflows

• Address technical issues to optimize production

• Maintain and support CFX pipelines and setups

Requirements:

• Experience in feature films or high-end TV productions

• Proficient in Houdini for character effects

• Understanding of physics and procedural animation

• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python and VEX

• Experience in Maya and Marvelous Designer is an asset
