IntroductionJim Pattison Toyota Downtown is seeking an experienced, high-performing Financial Services professional to join our leadership team as a Financial Services Advisor
. This role is designed for a seasoned F&I expert who thrives in a high volume, performance driven environment and is confident managing complex deals, maximizing profitability, and delivering a premium customer experience consistent with a leading Toyota dealership.
You are a proven professional who understands how to balance compliance, customer trust, lender relationships, and strong finance penetration performance while maintaining exceptional CSI standards.
This is not an entry-level or training-focused role. We are looking for someone who can step in and contribute immediately at a high level.
Schedule: This is a full-time, permanent role of 40 hours per week.
This role reports to the General Sales Manager of the dealership.

As a seasoned Financial Services Advisor, you will be responsible for driving finance performance while ensuring a seamless, transparent, and premium customer experience.
In this role you will:
- Lead customers through the finance and delivery process with confidence, professionalism, and efficiency
- Structure and present finance and lease options that optimize both customer value and dealership profitability
- Consistently achieve strong finance penetration and product attachment rates in alignment with dealership objectives
- Offer and clearly present protection products, including extended warranties, GAP, insurance, and vehicle protection packages
- Work closely with sales leadership, lenders, and OEM partners to structure deals and maximize approval success
- Maintain full compliance with all regulatory, lender, and dealership requirements (VSA and applicable standards)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions to support preferred lender status and program access
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of all documentation, funding submissions, and deal postings
- Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to ensure a smooth, high-quality customer handoff experience
- Act as a subject matter expert in finance products, lending programs, and regulatory requirements
- Support leadership in improving processes, training sales staff on F&I basics, and strengthening overall dealership performance

- Minimum 3–5+ years of automotive finance or F&I management experience (required)
- Proven track record of strong finance penetration and product performance
- Valid VSA license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Deep understanding of automotive lending, leasing, and credit structures
- Strong negotiation and deal structuring skills
High level of accuracy in all financial and legal documentation - Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly with customers
- Strong knowledge of compliance, regulatory requirements, and lender guidelines
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced dealership environment
- Proficiency with CRM systems and dealership software
