Position: Director of Finance Role
Step into a vital leadership role as the Director of Finance for SCMC, guiding financial planning and budget management. Ensure optimal financial performance while navigating partnerships in a competitive environment.

This part-time position spans from June 2026 to March 2027, demanding up to 20 hours/week during peak operational periods. In this role, you will lead the formulation of budget proposals, oversee reimbursement requests, and engage with external sponsors for financial resources. Your ability to track actual spending and address budget issues proactively will be key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead budget proposal creation for SCMC's fiscal needs

• Manage reimbursement processes for competition expenses

• Seek financial backing through sponsorship outreach

• Monitor actual expenditures and budget deviations

• Explore cost reduction and revenue accrual strategies

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

• Knowledge of corporate finance principles

• Strong analytical and research capabilities

• Experience in budgeting, accounting, or administration preferred

• Familiarity with finance recruiting advantageous
