Position: Canucks for Kids Fund Senior Accountant Role

In this key role, you will help ensure the integrity of the Canucks for Kids Fund's financial operations, reporting directly to the Controller. Your responsibilities will include preparing monthly financial statements, managing annual audits, and ensuring that all accounting practices adhere to regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial statements and monitor budget variances

• Prepare for and coordinate annual financial audits

• Implement and monitor internal controls and compliance

• Prepare necessary government submissions and reports

• Support fundraising events and manage grant processes

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of accounting experience

• CPA designation required

• Charitable sector experience is advantageous

• Strong Excel and Microsoft D365 knowledge

• Must possess excellent time management skills
