Treasury Accountant

About the Position

Haywood is currently recruiting a Treasury Accountant to join its Vancouver Office. The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional client service, attention to detail, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities and challenges as they arise.

• Daily cashflow management
• Foreign exchange reconciliation and hedging
• Placing money market orders
• Placing call loans and overnight term deposits with bank
• Process client cash distributions and deposits through electronic funds transfers and cheques
• Analysis of client free credits
• Monthly interest analysis
  
  Cost allocations processing and analysis
• Month end accounting closing processes and reconciliations
• Various other ad hoc tasks/projects as required

• Treasury, banking, or financial services experience is an asset
• Knowledge of anti-money laundering procedures is an asset
• Intermediate level of accounting knowledge
• Intermediate level Excel skills
• 2 years experience in either a treasury or accounting related role
• Ability to work in a team environment and have excellent communication skills
• Broadridge software knowledge is an asset
• Strong ability to operate in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Sense of humour

Expected salary: $50,000.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
