Restricted Gift Consultant

Position: Full-Time Restricted Gift Consultant
Enhance BC SPCA's accounting practices as a Full-Time Restricted Gift Accounting Consultant. This hybrid position focuses on automation and improvements in restricted gift workflows.

In this temporary two-year role, you will collaborate directly with the Finance Team. Your primary goals focus on analyzing current restricted gift workflows and enhancing processes using Microsoft automation tools. With at least eight years of experience in accounting, you'll streamline the restricted gift accounting cycle and support monthly and quarterly accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare project documentation and refine approval processes

• Analyze and redesign restricted gift accounting workflows

• Implement workflow automation using Microsoft tools

• Train staff on new processes and documentation

• Oversee quarterly and monthly restricted gift accounting

Requirements:

• Chartered Professional Accountant designation required

• Minimum 8 years accounting experience in non-profit

• Proficient with Microsoft Power Automate and Power BI

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Excellent attention to detail and strategic thinking
