Position: Vancouver Director Underwriting Role
Join Maynbridge Capital in Vancouver as a Director of Underwriting, where you will lead lending evaluations across varied risk profiles. This on-site, full-time position is vital for the company’s underwriting strategy.

As a Director, you will oversee the assessment and structuring of lending transactions, collaborating closely with sales, legal, and portfolio management teams.

Your role will involve conducting detailed analyses of financial conditions and developing recommendations to balance risks with growth goals. You will also mentor emerging talent within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate new investment opportunities with the sales team

• Direct end-to-end underwriting for lending transactions

• Visit clients to perform pre-funding due diligence

• Prepare and present credit memos to the Credit Committee

• Monitor existing portfolio investments and compliance

Requirements:

• Extensive commercial lending experience

• Excellent skills in financial analysis and reporting

• Strong communication skills for drafting credit memos

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field required

• Entrepreneurial mindset with sound judgment
