Senior Finance Leader in SaaS

Our client, a SaaS company with annual revenues of $5–10M, is looking for a Controller capable of refining and leading financial operations. You will manage accounting functions, prepare financial reports, and mentor a finance team while maintaining audit readiness. This hands-on position demands strong SaaS industry knowledge and a commitment to continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage FP&A, AR, payroll, and general ledger functions

• Prepare and review comprehensive financial statements

• Drive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings

• Ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards

• Analyze SaaS metrics for clear reporting to leadership

Requirements:

• CPA designation or nearing completion with SaaS experience

• 7+ years in finance/accounting with a strong process improvement focus

• Entrepreneurial mindset comfortable in fast-paced growth

• Proven leadership skills with small finance teams

• Strong communication across diverse stakeholders
