As the Controller reporting to the VP of Finance, you will handle extensive financial reporting across multiple entities. You will prepare tax returns, manage cash flows, and ensure compliance with various real estate regulations. Your leadership will be vital in supporting a small team while fostering strong financial practices within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage preparation of financial statements across entities
• Handle tax return preparations and planning deliverables
• Produce weekly cash flow reports for corporate oversight
• Develop monthly asset management financial packages
• Ensure compliance with lender and government reporting
Requirements:
• CPA designation is essential
• Industry experience in construction or real estate is necessary
• Strong background in financial statement preparation
• Preferred familiarity with Timber scan and Sage 300
• A hands-on leader with a collaborative approach
