Elevate your career as a Bookkeeper at BGC South Coast BC in Vancouver. This part-time position focuses on maintaining precise financial records and collaborative teamwork.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be integral to the finance team, ensuring accurate accounting and reporting practices.
Your role will cover various duties, from processing transactions to aiding in financial audits, all while upholding organizational integrity and detail orientation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process daily financial transactions and reconcile accounts
• Maintain and update the general ledger and accounting records
• Prepare and issue invoices, tracking late payments
• Assist with creating financial statements and budgets
• Support finance team during audits and fundraising events
Requirements:
• Clear Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector)
• Two years or more bookkeeping experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Excellent organizational skills needed
• Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus
