As a Finance Assistant at UBC, you will provide essential administrative and financial support to faculty, staff, and students. Your responsibilities include preparing and processing complex financial documents and expense reports while resolving issues within financial data. Strong customer service skills are vital in maintaining effective communication across various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and process complex financial documents
• Submit Workday requests for reconciliations and reimbursements
• Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies
• Communicate UBC and grant agency policies accurately
• Reconcile department working tags and monitor financial data
Requirements:
• High school graduation with a two-year diploma in accounting
• Three years of relevant accounting experience
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
