WhatYou’ll Do
- Oversee the day-to-day financial activities of restructuring and/or transaction advisory engagements.
- Apply business, accounting, finance and analysis skills to various client situations and practice disciplines.
- Review financial statements and perform quality of earnings/cash flow analysis.
- Prepare and/or review complex financial projections to model business processes and/or transactions.
- Assess business plans, cash flows, and analyze large amounts of data associated with restructuring plans.
- Conduct financial due diligence and financial analysis of clients and potential target companies.
- Understand all aspects of the client’s business including review of operational and financial performance.
- Draft written reports and/or presentations on the project scope, findings and/or results of activities.
- Work with the client’s senior management, restructuring / legal / finance experts on work engagements.
- Manage the engagement team and provide coaching to junior team members.

What You Will Need To SucceedBasic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, economics, or finance.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant post‑graduate experience.
- Understanding of financial statements and corporate functions.
- Advanced Excel modelling and PowerPoint skills.
- Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed up to 60%.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada on a full‑time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship.
- CPA, CFA or MBA preferred.
- Relevant experience in a professional services firm (public accounting, consulting, etc.).
- Advanced problem‑solving and issue resolution skills.
- Professional verbal and written communications, including report writing.
- Strong interest in finance and working in a professional services environment.
- Ability and willingness to learn and adapt in an ever‑changing environment to meet client needs.
Minimum Pay: $92,000. Maximum Pay: $142,000.

The compensation range reflects potential base salary for the role. Actual compensation is determined based on a wide array of relevant factors including market considerations, business needs, and an individual’s location, skills, level of experience, and qualifications.
