In this full-time position, you'll support the Financial Planning & Analysis team, enhancing budget management and analyzing financial data. Responsibilities include developing forecasts, financial modeling, and delivering insights to operational leaders. You'll partner with key stakeholders to maximize service delivery and ensure compliance with reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop operating and capital budgets aligned with City priorities

• Support financial analysis for strategic decision-making

• Prepare long-term financial forecasts and variance analyses

• Create financial models and conduct cost-benefit analyses

• Monitor budget performance for compliance and efficiency

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration

• Professional accounting designation required

• Extensive budgeting experience in multi-union organizations

• Knowledge of PSAB and public sector accounting standards

• Proficiency in SAP and financial software tools
