This full-time position seeks a skilled Assistant Controller reporting to the Controller. Your expertise will facilitate internal and external financial reporting and influence sound business decisions. You'll lead a team in preparation tasks, manage budgeting processes, and support year-end audits while providing guidance to management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Senior Accountants in financial reporting preparation
• Prepare monthly reports for management teams
• Support annual budget creation with management
• Analyze data to inform business decisions
• Assist with year-end audit processes
Requirements:
• CPA designation with 8 years’ finance experience
• Expertise in GAAP and not-for-profit accounting
• Proficiency in Financial Edge and budget management software
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams
