Opportunity

We are seeking a technically proficient and motivated Manager to join our Indirect Tax team with a primary focus on Property Tax services. This role requires strong expertise in Property Tax Appeals, supported by Property Tax Advisory and Compliance services. The primary focus is on technical excellence and effective service delivery, with the ability to manage client interactions and communicate complex property tax matters clearly.

You will manage and deliver property tax engagements, providing high‑quality technical advice and solutions. You will collaborate closely with Property Tax and Indirect Tax professionals to drive successful outcomes and contribute to business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and help lead Property Tax engagements, including assessment reviews, appraisals, and appeals, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource on property tax matters, explaining complex concepts clearly to clients and internal teams.
  • Analyze clients’ real‑estate portfolios to identify property tax risks and opportunities and develop tailored solutions.
  • Contribute to proposal development and participate in client presentations, demonstrating technical expertise and value.
  • Stay current with property tax legislation, market trends, and assessment practices to provide informed and proactive advice.
Skills and Attributes for Success
  • Strong technical knowledge of property tax assessment, appraisal, and appeals processes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deliver high‑quality technical work.
  • Professional and credible client‑facing approach with the ability to build trust and rapport.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s or postgraduate degree.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in property tax, including assessment, appraisal, and appeals.
  • Experience managing property tax engagements in a professional services environment or related industry.

Salary in Vancouver: $92,000 to $138,000
