Position: Capital Accountant for Artemis Gold
Join BW Gold, a subsidiary of Artemis Gold, as a Capital Accountant contributing to capital budgeting and expense monitoring in the mining sector. This role focuses on financial insights tailored to enhance operational efficiency.

Reporting to the Mine Controller, this junior position requires 2-4 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in capital budgeting. You'll assist in developing the annual capital budget for the Blackwater Mine, ensuring expenditures align with strategic goals. Strong technical knowledge of capital budgeting techniques and regulatory expertise in Canadian GAAP/IFRS are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in capital budget development and maintenance

• Prepare capital spending and project performance reports

• Coordinate the Authorization for Expenditure process

• Analyze data for capital expense monitoring

• Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards

Requirements:

• 2-4 years in finance or accounting experience

• Understanding of financial modeling and accounting software

• Familiarity with Canadian GAAP/IFRS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
