Join West Fraser’s Accounting & Finance team as a Senior Internal Auditor in Vancouver. This full-time role emphasizes audit compliance, risk assessment, and management reporting.

West Fraser is actively recruiting for a Senior Internal Auditor to support our team by performing risk assessments and planning internal audits. Your expertise in SOX Internal Controls and corporate finance will contribute to developing audit programs that accurately reflect organizational risks. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess risks to determine audit objectives and scope

• Plan internal audit reviews and utilize data analytics

• Document audit controls and summarize findings

• Report issues and coordinate with management on solutions

• Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or IT Operations

• Required CPA designation; prefer CIA, CFE, CISA

• Minimum 3-4 years of audit experience in public companies

• Proven project management and interpersonal skills

• ERP experience, including Oracle or JDE, is an asset
