Position: Full-Time Mortgage Underwriter Role

Working full-time under the Manager of Third Party Residential Underwriting, you will review mortgage documentation and escalate any issues.

Your role is vital for processing application workflows while ensuring adherence to lending policies. Building a network with external partners is a key aspect of your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain positive broker relationships

• Review and adjudicate mortgage applications accurately

• Complete credit lending decisions with Mortgage Insurers

• Issue mortgage commitments within agreed timelines

• Stay informed about industry trends and practices

Requirements:

• Completion of post-secondary education or relevant experience

• Minimum of 2 years in mortgage underwriting

• Knowledge of Mortgage Agent Course preferred

• Proficiency in Windows-based PC software

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
