As a Macroeconomic Risk Analyst, you'll provide insights that support BCFSA's regulatory functions.
Your role will involve closely observing macroeconomic indicators, capital market trends, and the housing market to inform risk management strategies. Collaborate with stakeholders as you present your findings and contribute to internal work practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research macroeconomic conditions and trends
• Evaluate risks impacting financial institutions in BC
• Develop presentations and briefing notes for decision-making
• Engage with internal experts and manage stakeholder relationships
• Support organizational initiatives for business transformations
Requirements:
• Advanced degree in Economics, Finance, or related fields
• Solid understanding of macroeconomic principles and data analysis
• Experience with programming languages such as R or SQL
• Excellent report writing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid model
