This critical role involves managing budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting to support academic and research initiatives. You will supervise a team, including a Financial Analyst and an Administrative Assistant. Strong leadership, strategic planning, and financial analysis skills are essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead annual budget development and forecast cycles
• Develop budget scenarios for leadership decision-making
• Monitor financial performance and recommend corrective actions
• Oversee core finance operations and ensure compliance
• Strengthen internal controls and improve financial processes
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in a relevant field
• CPA designation (CA, CGA, or CMA) required
• Minimum five years of related experience
• Proficiency in large enterprise systems preferred
• Strong competency in MS Office, especially spreadsheets
