As a Controller at Star, you will serve as the trusted advisor to the CEO, leading the finance function and guiding the leadership team. Your strong financial discipline, proactive reporting, and leadership qualities will help create clarity and accountability in a fast-paced entrepreneurial setting. This role also presents opportunities for future advancement into a CFO position as the company expands.
Key Responsibilities- Actively participate in leadership team discussions
- Produce accurate monthly financial reports
- Develop forecasting and budgeting processes
- Lead and develop the finance team effectively
- Maintain financial compliance and controls
- Proven experience leading a finance function
- Robust capabilities in financial reporting and forecasting
- Experience in owner-led organizations preferred
- CPA designation is a plus
- Ability to thrive in an energetic setting
