Senior Practice Consultant, Private Wealth Management
Job Description
This role is accountable for driving practice enhancement, engagement and coaching for High Net Worth Advisory (Private Investment Advice) teams. The incumbent will act as a subject‑matter expert, engaging with Advisors through discovery and solution processes, and delivering Practice Management (PM) solutions across Value Proposition Creation, Discovery, Planning, and Investment Management. The role also entails implementing tactical PM initiatives at the leader and Advisor level, delivering thought leadership to large groups, and coaching advisors one‑on‑one, at deskside and in team settings.
Key Responsibilities- Drive practice enhancement, engagement and coaching with HNW Advisory teams.
- Engage Advisors in practice discovery and solution processes, serving as a consultant to deliver PM solutions.
- Implement tactical PM initiatives at the leader and Advisor level.
- Deliver thought leadership to larger groups, deskside, one‑on‑one, advisory and team engagements.
- Equip local Advisors to grow through greater efficiency and an optimal practice approach.
- Enhance the field’s ability to build books through prospecting, internal referrals, consolidation strategies, brand building, value delivery, team development and efficiency.
- Proven track record in the delivery of HNW advice and solutions to clients.
- 10+ years of Sales Leadership, Coaching, Training and/or Advisory experience.
- Excellent presentation skills and a history of one‑on‑one and group coaching.
- Forward‑looking thought leader with problem‑solving skills and an understanding of advisory practice optimization.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and demonstrate discipline around timelines, implementation and sustainment.
- Ability to guide others to a desired conclusion and influence accountability.
- Knowledge of TD Wealth products, systems, procedures and structure.
- Understanding of Private Wealth Management business, regulations and procedures.
- Subject‑matter expertise or industry certifications/accreditations (CSC, IFIC, PFP, PFPc, CFP, CFA) considered an asset.
- Team player who can help others understand complex issues and influence a diverse group toward a common goal; strong collaborative skills and experience partnering with business units.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to address a diverse audience.
- Coaching designations such as ACC, PCC through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) or other considered an asset.
- Consulting certifications such as Kolbe, Strengths Finder, DISC, Myers‑Briggs considered an asset.
- Bilingualism in French and English, both written and verbal, is a strong asset.
