This six-month position supports the administrative finance operations at UBC, Providence Research, and other affiliates. The Finance Administrator will oversee project grants, manage expenditures, and coordinate with Principal Investigators and research teams. A thorough understanding of financial policies is essential for ensuring compliance with institutional and granting agency requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage project grants and research accounts effectively
• Prepare and submit invoices to sponsors and CROs
• Reconcile payments against enrolled participants and visits
• Monitor financial activities and prepare reports for PIs
• Support budget preparation and training for staff
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in a related field
• At least two years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of financial systems and reporting tools
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
Ensure financial integrity and compliance in clinical trials while supporting research initiatives at UBC.
