Pensions Administration Specialist

As a full-time member of BCFSA, your main focus will be on analyzing and validating pension-related submissions and enquiries. You will provide critical insights and support to senior teams while ensuring compliance with established regulations. Your expertise will safeguard British Columbians during essential financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and validate statutory pension submissions and complaints
• Support relationships with plan administrators and regulators
• Evaluate filings of moderate complexity
• Develop briefing notes and correspondence for various audiences
• Maintain monitoring and reporting systems used by the Pensions Branch
Requirements:
• Degree in business or related field
• Knowledge of Pension Benefits Standards Act regulations
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Experience with public service and industry analysis
• Ability to manage high volumes of tasks effectively
