Smythe LLP seeks an Associate or Senior Associate for its M&A advisory practice. Ideal candidates have 2-3 years of experience in corporate finance or M&A advisory. In this role, you will assist in executing transaction support engagements and preparing financial models, client deliverables, and valuation analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support M&A advisory engagements and transaction execution

• Prepare financial models and valuation analyses

• Review and analyze financial statements and management reports

• Assist in creating transaction materials like teasers and presentations

• Conduct buyer and market research to inform transaction strategies

Requirements:

• 2-3 years in public practice or corporate finance

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or accounting

• CPA designation or progress toward it preferred

• Strong understanding of financial statements and business drivers

• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
