Join UBC's Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences as a Finance Manager, focusing on strategic financial management and operational excellence. Play a vital role in budget oversight and resource allocation.
This position reports to the Director of Finance, working closely with faculty leadership to manage financial planning and decision support. You will supervise finance team members and enhance financial reporting processes. Demonstrated experience in budgeting and compliance is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate annual budget and in-year forecast activities
• Develop resource options for leadership evaluation
• Produce complex financial models and decision analyses
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data
• Act as faculty finance lead on process improvements
Requirements:
• Relevant undergraduate degree and CPA designation
• Five years of related finance experience required
• Knowledge of Workday and Adaptive is a plus
• Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Excel
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
