Job Summary

Position:
Credit Management – Credit Underwriter (Vancouver, BC, Canada).

Hours:

37.5 per week. Compensation: $59,500 – $84,000 CAD.

• Review, analyze, and evaluate credit applications to authorize credit within designated limits.
• Collaborate with business partners to provide credit support, solutions, and recommendations throughout the credit adjudication process.
• Ensure all credit decisions comply with policy, meet service level agreements, and are documented accurately.
• Handle customer concerns, resolve issues in a timely manner, and foster positive relationships with internal and external partners.
• Manage workload to meet SLA requirements while maintaining confidentiality.
• Make rationalized credit decisions, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain risk management practices, identify and escalated non‑standard, high‑risk activities.
• Provide guidance and support to colleagues, participate in knowledge sharing, and contribute to team success.

• Professional level role focusing on credit underwriting and adjudication across complex products.
• Authorizes credit based on discretionary lending limits and advanced knowledge of credit products, end‑to‑end processes, and systems.
• Identifies operational issues, contributes to reporting, and supports process improvement initiatives.
• May lead small scale initiatives or work streams within the assigned area.

Undergraduate degree and/or 3+ years of relevant experience.

Flexible 8‑hour shifts between 6:00AM and 8:00PM with a Saturday rotation. Minimum of 2 days per month required in office; workplace model may evolve to 2‑4 days per week in office.
