The Opportunity

We are seeking a Consultant to join our team and support the delivery of comprehensive investment advisory and portfolio management services to client families. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with high-net-worth families across discretionary and non-discretionary portfolios, while contributing to investment strategy, client relationship management, and customized portfolio solutions.

You will collaborate closely with Senior Consultants, the Investment Team, and internal operations professionals in a client-focused, collaborative environment.

Primary Responsibilities Client Relationship Management
  • Lead and manage relationships with client families.
  • Manage client portfolios on both a discretionary and non-discretionary basis.
  • Support Senior Consultants in managing relationships with existing client families.
  • Prepare, review, and present materials for client meetings.
  • Identify and help advance client family priorities beyond investment portfolio management.
Strategic Investment Planning
  • Provide ongoing advice and analysis related to asset allocation and portfolio construction.
  • Draft, review, and present Investment Policy Statements to client families.
  • Evaluate prospective client families’ existing investments to ensure alignment with their risk and return objectives.
Investment Recommendations
  • Recommend investment opportunities and appropriate position sizing based on client objectives, needs, and overall asset mix.
  • Coordinate with client families’ tax advisors regarding asset placement and tax considerations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely investment execution in collaboration with the Client Service and Operations teams.
  • Provide ongoing portfolio monitoring and investment updates to client families, liaising with the Investment Team as required.
  • Review investment reporting and oversee delivery of customized portfolio analyses.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all client reporting is accurate and delivered professionally.
Qualifications
  • Experience in investment advisory, portfolio management, or wealth management.
  • Strong understanding of asset allocation and portfolio construction principles.
  • Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage client relationships independently and collaboratively.
  • Relevant professional designations or progress toward completion (e.g., CFA, CIM) considered an asset.
