Position: Senior Financial Services Representative (BCGEU) - False Creek

Location

False Creek Community Branch (Branch 76), Vancouver, British Columbia.

Role Summary

Senior Financial Services Representative – a full‑time, permanent position that supports members by managing complex transactions, providing personalized advice, and ensuring compliance with branch policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Perform member transactions with a high level of quality and service delivery.
  • Identify and assess member and prospect needs to recommend appropriate products, services and referrals.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to service team members to meet experience standards.
  • Apply branch service standards and support adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Apply and support controls to meet compliance, security requirements and risk mitigation.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of customer service experience interacting with people and businesses in a professional capacity.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Problem‑solving aptitude and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Tech‑savvy, comfortable with technology and systems, and able to provide technical guidance.
  • Knowledgeable of Vancity policies, procedures, products and services.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cross‑training or previous work experience in a leadership capacity.
  • Call centre and branch experience.
  • Post‑secondary education or diploma in a related discipline.
Compensation and Benefits

Starting hourly rate of $33.90 per hour, with potential variation based on qualifications, skills, and experience. Additional benefits include an annual incentive program, living wage, customizable benefits, 3‑4 weeks of vacation, extra statutory holidays, immediate health and dental coverage, and a defined benefit pension plan.
