CIRO is seeking a Senior Investigative Trading Analyst to perform preliminary investigations into potential violations of Canadian securities laws. You will develop investigation reports, coach junior analysts, and contribute to the creation of innovative monitoring tools. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity of Canada’s capital markets through rigorous analysis and oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preliminary assessments of law violations

• Write concise investigation reports and conclusions

• Review and assess complaints for further action

• Coach Investigative Trading Analysts in their duties

• Support development of new monitoring tools

Requirements:

• Completion of Canadian Securities Course and relevant exams

• Professional development in Economics or Commerce

• Bilingual in French and English preferred

• Strong analytical and writing skills

• Knowledge of securities industry regulations
