Manager, Pension Solutions, Group Annuity Operations
What is the opportunity?The Manager, Pension Solutions, Group Annuity Operations plays a vital role in the effective administration of our group annuity business line. You will ensure pension plan and contractual requirements, working proactively with internal stakeholders, plan sponsors, and pension consultants to successfully onboard and implement group annuity deals. This role demands someone who takes initiative, executes with precision, and drives results under the guidance of our team leaders.
Whatwill you do?
- Support group annuity administration:
From onboarding to ongoing group annuity contract servicing including pension calculations and resolving complex administration issues (for example, pension calculations and death processing) - Ensure compliance:
Work with legal, compliance, and finance to maintain adherence to regulatory and contractual requirements, flagging risks and recommending solutions - Drive continuous improvement:
Identify and contribute to process improvement initiatives, including testing system upgrades, documenting enhancements, and implementing best practices - Execute data integration:
Verify new annuity client data and plan provision setup in the administration system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness - Own implementation success:
Coordinate and participate in kick-off meetings with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring implementation timelines are met
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on pension administration or consulting experience, actuarial experience/background is an asset
- Strong technical knowledge of pension legislation and calculations
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong data management background and analytical skills
- Proven initiative:
Track record of taking ownership, solving problems independently, and driving results with minimal supervision
- Bilingualism
