Senior Internal Auditor Position

Position: Peoples Group Senior Internal Auditor Position
Drive change as a Senior Internal Auditor at Peoples Group, located in Toronto or Vancouver. This position is instrumental in conducting risk assessments and advising across various business units.

Reporting directly to the AVP of Internal Audit, you will engage with stakeholders from Finance and Compliance.

Your role involves evaluating internal controls and providing recommendations for improvements. By maintaining professional skepticism, you'll help foster a strong risk and control culture in the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead audits, including risk assessment and testing phases

• Analyze control effectiveness and root causes

• Deliver comprehensive audit reports to management

• Collaborate on remediation strategies with stakeholders

• Facilitate continuous improvement in audit methodologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline

• 3–5 years of internal audit experience or equivalent

• Comprehensive understanding of audit methodologies

• Proficiency with analytical tools and documentation

• Certification (CIA, CISA) is a plus
