In this senior position within BMO Wealth’s Law Firm and Professional Services Group, you will manage underwriting and ongoing loan portfolio maintenance. This role emphasizes financial spreading, credit analysis, and client service to support Bankers and ensure timely resolution of all inquiries. The foundation of your work will involve comprehensive risk assessments and adherence to corporate risk policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct underwriting and portfolio management for law firms
• Provide financial and credit analysis on transactions
• Support proposal green lighting and resolve client questions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet business objectives
• Perform audits and compliance reviews as needed
Requirements:
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in underwriting
• In-depth knowledge of personal and commercial credit
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
