Lead the financial strategy for Chop Value as a Finance Director based in Vancouver, BC. This role demands a hands-on approach to manage financial operations in a mission-driven environment.

The Finance Director will oversee day-to-day financial operations alongside senior leadership, ensuring the financial integrity of a rapidly growing company. Key responsibilities include the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as compliance with accounting standards. A proactive and detail-oriented mindset is essential for fostering a scalable financial process as the organization expands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements monthly and annually

• Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes

• Develop forecasts and cash flow projections

• Ensure compliance with federal and local tax regulations

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business

• 2–6 years of finance or accounting experience

• CPA designation is a plus

• Strong communication skills for translating numbers
