Financial Manager
The Wellness Group (TWG) is a diversified healthcare holding company committed to transforming how care is delivered, managed, and experienced. Across our portfolio of companies, we build and scale innovative healthcare businesses — from care management and pharmacy services to wellness technology. We hire people who are mission-driven, operationally sharp, and ready to do meaningful work.
About Wellness CareWellness Care is TWG's care management division, delivering high-quality, patient-centered services that improve health outcomes for the populations we serve. Operating at the intersection of clinical excellence and operational efficiency, Wellness Care is growing rapidly and needs a strong financial leader to scale with it.
The OpportunityWe are looking for a Finance Manager to own the financial operations of the Wellness Care division. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role for someone who is equally comfortable closing the books and sitting across the table from operational leaders to drive smarter decisions. You will be the financial backbone of a growing healthcare division, building reporting infrastructure, owning the budget process, and ensuring the business has the insight it needs to grow responsibly.
This is not a back‑office role. You will have a seat at the table and a voice in how the division grows.Key Responsibilities
- Lead all divisional financial operations including month‑end close, financial statements, and variance analysis for Wellness Care.
- Own the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process, partnering closely with operational and clinical leadership.
- Build and maintain financial models to support strategic decisions, growth initiatives, and scenario planning.
- Develop and deliver timely, accurate management reporting packages to TWG leadership and the Wellness Care executive team.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and key financial metrics; flag risks and opportunities proactively.
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions for the division, working with shared services as applicable.
- Support external audit processes and liaise with TWG's corporate finance team on consolidated reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.
- Mentor and develop junior finance staff within the division as the team grows.
- 5+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, with at least 2 years at the manager level.
- Experience in healthcare, home care, care management, or a similarly regulated service industry is strongly preferred.
- Strong technical accounting skills with a solid understanding of ASPE or US GAAP as applicable.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with ERP or accounting platforms (Quick Books, Sage, Net Suite, or similar).
- Demonstrated ability to build financial models and translate data into clear business insights.
- Excellent communication skills — you can explain financial results to non‑finance stakeholders with confidence and clarity.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage competing deadlines without dropping the ball.
- A builder's mindset — you see gaps as opportunities and take initiative to improve systems and processes.
- You have worked in a divisional or multi‑entity finance environment and understand how to manage financials across complex structures.
- You are energized by working in a fast‑growing company where you can build something, not just maintain it.
- You want a role where your work directly impacts patient care outcomes through sound financial stewardship.
- You thrive when given ownership and accountability rather than waiting to be told what to do next.
The Wellness Group offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional details will be shared during the interview process.
- Competitive base salary (see pay band research for market context)
- Extended health and dental benefits
- Paid vacation and wellness days
- Hybrid work flexibility
- A mission‑driven environment where your work truly matters
