Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you will support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis in accordance with Public Sector Accounting Standards (PSAS). Your analytical mindset and collaborative approach will help drive accurate financial reporting while supporting stakeholders across the organization.

Your Responsibilities- Support annual budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting activities across the organization.
- Prepare periodic financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses to support informed decision-making.
- Complete monthly cost allocations across departments, programs, and projects using established methodologies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support budget planning and provide financial guidance.
- Assist with salary and benefits forecasting, financial modelling, and scenario analysis.
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports and provide backup support across finance functions as required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or financial analysis.
- Demonstrated experience working with Public Sector Accounting Standards (PSAS).
- Completion of at least 3 CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) core or elective modules, or an equivalent program, preferably focused on financial reporting, management accounting, and finance.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline is considered an asset.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems such as Microsoft Business Central, Dynamics NAV, or similar applications.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information with professionalism.
