Financial Analyst at CPSBC - Hybrid

Elevate your analytical skills as a Financial Analyst with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC). Join a dynamic team that emphasizes public sector accounting and financial planning through a hybrid work model.

In this role, you'll report to the senior accountant and be instrumental in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Your analytical expertise will help drive decision-making processes across various departments. A minimum of three years of progressive accounting experience is preferred, ideally in a financial reporting domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in budget planning and forecasting activities

• Prepare periodic reporting, including variance analysis

• Liaise with departments for budget support

• Conduct ad hoc reporting and scenario analysis

• Provide backup support for finance operations

Requirements:

• Completed three CPA PEP modules or equivalent

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related

• Minimum three years of accounting experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and ERP applications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
