AML Investigator

Position: AML Investigator at Central 1
Safeguard financial practices as an AML Investigator with Central 1 in a hybrid work model. This role combines compliance investigations and risk management to tackle financial crime.

Central 1 is looking for a detail-oriented AML Investigator with at least 2 years of experience in AML/ATF compliance. The successful candidate will investigate transaction monitoring alerts and support a variety of compliance activities. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with teams and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate transaction monitoring alerts related to AML/ATF

• Identify high-risk cases for further investigation

• Conduct risk assessments and compliance activities

• Support suspicious transaction reporting and Enhanced Due Diligence

• Maintain detailed records for compliance reporting

Requirements:

• University degree or college diploma in criminology or related field

• 2+ years of AML/ATF compliance experience

• Strong understanding of FINTRAC requirements

• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
