Manager of Finance at West Schools

This position calls for a leader to oversee the finance team, managing both accounts payable and receivable while supporting systems improvements. You will collaborate closely with the Director of Finance on strategic initiatives and ensure that all financial processes align with best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage comprehensive accounts payable and receivable functions

• Supervise and develop union finance department staff

• Handle cash flow management and forecasting needs

• Prepare mandatory government financial documents

• Update and maintain the district's chart of accounts

Requirements:

• At least three years of experience in finance or accounting

• Background in a unionized and/or public sector environment

• Strong management and communication skills

• Ability to set priorities and demonstrate initiative

• Proficient in MS Excel at an intermediate level
