Aterio is seeking a Research Analyst to enhance our Data Center team in Vancouver. Engage in detailed tracking of cloud infrastructure trends and capacity buildouts across leading hyperscalers and AI developments.
In this analytical role, you will bring your equity research experience and focus on capacity growth, power availability, and investment activities among major cloud providers, including AWS and Google Cloud. Your insights will directly inform institutional clients’ investment strategies, making a real impact in this fast-evolving sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Track and analyze data center capacity and infrastructure growth
• Build financial and market models on capex trends
• Monitor earnings calls and public disclosures from hyperscalers
• Produce timely research notes for internal and client use
• Identify emerging trends in AI infrastructure and GPU demand
Requirements:
• 1-4 years of relevant research experience
• Understanding of major cloud providers
• Bachelor's in Economics or Finance
• Familiarity with data analysis tools like Excel
• Based in Vancouver
